Due to the nature of hand dyeing, there will be variations of color.

Indigo dyeing has been said to have a far-infrared effect.

  • We do not use any chemical agents that may irritate the skin and is antibacterial. By only using indigo from our farm, customers with sensitive skin can wear our products with confidence.

  • Our Indigo dye will not transfer color to clothes, even if it gets wet.

Certified by a testing authority, our products attest to a quality level that poses no problem for general usage.

We hand-dye all our Aizome products. Since we only use natural indigo, every finish is different in its hue and design. 

Similarly, because our ecru cotton products contain no chemical additives, the hue may differ from year to year depending the color of the cotton flower harvest and its yarn.

* During winter time, it is difficult to achieve the level of Aizome dye that is acceptable due to the cold. We ask you to wait until spring time when it is warmer.

Care instructions

Manual wash in cold water or in 30 C water with neutral detergent.
